General conditions


1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 Unit Occupancy

a. The number of people permitted to occupy each unit is limited to two persons per bedroom available.
b. Guests should in no case exceed the maximum occupancy of each unit.

1.2 Check-in and Check-out

a. Standard Check-in time: at 14:00 earliest
b. Standard Check-out time: at 11:00 latest
c. Early check-ins and late check-outs can be secured against a supplement of EUR 75 (MUR 3,600 / ZAR 1,400 / USD 90 / GBP 70) each, except during PEAK season, where the supplement is equivalent to the cost of one (1) full night.

1.3 Child Policy

a. Children of all ages are accepted with prior arrangement and must be mentioned at time of booking.
b. Children up to 2 years old inclusive: Cot provided in room upon request.
c. Children as from 3 years old: No extra bed provided (counts towards the total number of pax).

1.4 Security Deposit

a. For stays less than 91 nights:
Upon check-in, all guests will be asked to authorise a security deposit of EUR 500 (MUR 25,000 / ZAR 9,500 / USD 600 / GBP 475) on their credit card, which may be deducted from the latter within 30 days of departure against any breakages, excessive cleaning or loss to property. Should the value of broken items exceed the security deposit, The Company reserves the right to claim any excess to the guest.

b. For stays more than 91 nights:
A security deposit equivalent to a 1-month stay (30 days) is required and should be paid thirty (30) days prior to the arrival of the guest, to cover against any breakages, excessive cleaning or loss to property. Should the value of broken items exceed the security deposit, The Company reserves the right to claim any excess to the guest.

1.5 Units and Relocations

a. A specific unit cannot be guaranteed; however, The Company will ensure that the confirmed category is provided.
b. The Company reserves the right to move a confirmed booking in another available apartment of the same or higher standard category as originally booked, if unforeseen circumstances demand so.

1.6 Extensions of stays

a. A 7-day notice of intention is required to extend stays.
b. While The Company will, with due care and effort accommodate such extensions, the latter are subject to availability and rate variations.

1.7 All bookings shall be subject to any additional terms and conditions specified at the time of booking

 

2. PAYMENT POLICIES

2.1 For stays less than 91 nights:

a. Upon confirmation of the booking, a 50% deposit is required, and the remaining balance is to be settled thirty (30) days prior to the arrival of the guest.
b. In the event of an arrival within thirty (30) days, full payment should be made to confirm any booking. Should the full rental not be paid 30 days prior to arrival, the central reservation is entitled to cancel the reservation made, 48 hours after a written reminder is sent to the client on the due day of payment.

2.2 For stays more than 91 nights:

a. Upon confirmation of the booking, a deposit equivalent to a 1-month stay (30 days) is required. Thirty (30) days prior to the arrival of the guest, payment equivalent to a 1-month stay (30 days) as well as a security deposit equivalent to a 1-month stay (30 days) should be paid.
b. In the event of an arrival within thirty (30) days, payment equivalent to a 2-month stay (60 days) as well as a security deposit equivalent to a 1-month stay (30 days) should be paid.

 

3. CANCELLATION POLICIES

3.1 All year round except peak:

a. 15+ days prior to guest’s arrival → No cancellation fee applied.
b. 15 to 7 days prior to guest’s arrival → 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
c. Less than 7 days prior to guest’s arrival → 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

3.2 Peak season only:

a. 31+ days prior to guest’s arrival → No cancellation fee applied.
b. 30 to 15 days prior to guest’s arrival → 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
c. Less than 15 days prior to guest’s arrival → 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

All refunds are subject to an administrative fee and due processing time.
